Hm, haven't tried the first character, but the Azula file is missing the actual image-sources, isn't it? And taking a look at the other, the first one too.
NML-files work with resources in your Asset folder (a sub-folder to the Novelty folder on your computer), they don't copy them.
If you only upload the NML file others who do not have the image-sources won't be able to do anything with it alone.
Thus there are nvz-files which contain both the sources and the NML part - such a file would be more than useful^^
You can create an nvz file instead of the nml by choosing 'Save as Package ...' instead of 'Save as ...' when working in Designer.
