The Dollmaker
-----
Let me tell a tale
A tale that none of told
Of a lone doll maker
And a gift worth more than gold

To breath life into dolls
Carving smiles out of wood
Giving them all love
Though daughter never could

Born without a heart
Beautiful as sin
Forever to stay young
Dollmaker made hearts till the end

Daughter wore wrapped in fine ribbon
The wood heart to her breast
Roughly carved and misshapen
The doll could find no rest

A Short story using free materials and Inkscape.
Cheers!

I went to tumblr, and then clicked on the rapidshare link.
Rapidshare gave me the following error message

"Download not available
The download for this file has not been enabled. Only the user who uploaded it, can enable the download option."

Very respectfully,

Will fix that right now!

Right click and select download.
Thank you, and apologies for the error.
If that does not work, I'll upload to mediafire.

I downloaded the exe file successfully from rapidshare. HOWEVER, when I tried to run it, I received an error message.

"This application has failed to start because fmodex.dll was not found."

:(

You can't just upload the exe file. I suggest you export your VN to a new folder, then use a file compression program (7zip, winzip, or winrar) to compress all of the files (the exe file, the dll file, and if applicable, the nvz file) in that new folder to a zip file. Upload the zip file to your file hosting site. :D

I successfully downloaded and unzipped the newest release. When I opened the visual novel the following error appeared.
"DIB Header: Image widthe . 32767 pixels for file"

I pressed OKAY and was able to read your kinetic novel.
You wrote an interesting story. I like your selection of background music. There were a few typo graphical errors (mostly apostrophes missing from contractions).
If this is your first effort, I'd say you did very well.
On future releases, have a friend sit next to you at the keyboard to make it easier to find and correct typographical errors.

You might want to edit your previous posts to link to the new corrected version. ;)
