Event trigger question

Is it possible to make an event trigger when a certain amount of point has been collected?

For example, if you have collected more than 10 "Points" (the variable name) throughout the game, an event (or chapter or page) will pop up. And in contrary, if you have less than 10, it will just skip it and move on. Is there any way to make this happen?

Well, sure you can. There are two things you need to implement: (1) The point system. (2) An event checker. Meaning, you need to decide on when to test for the amount of points and, in accorance, trigger or not trigger the event.

You can accumulate points by several means. For example by using a Set game variable action. Just input the name of your variable, choose 'Add' as the operator, insert the value you wish to add to the points (e.g. 2) and you're done.
To test wether the special event needs to be triggered you could use a Branch action. Set condition to be 'your variable name' bigger or equal '10' - then choose to play the event if the condition is true, and to continue with the normal story if not. For that the event should have it's own page or thread, makes it easier.
